McGregor beachwear & sportswear (1952) Is that Buster Crabbe in the foreground and background? And a pool full of men? "an achievement in teamed water suits"
I like the second one. But only because it looks like an Aperture Science beach party where they're about to use GLaDOS' morality core as a volleyball.
I just watched Gentlemen Prefer Blondes this weekend. Hadn't seen it in years. Jane Russell does a number with the Olympic swimming team, Anybody Here Up For Love?. I swear, they got the gayest guys in Hollywood to dance this number with the moves they made and all smooth (not a single chest hair in sight), and their lack of response to Jane. They were supposed to be concentrating on training but it just struck me as pretty funny, that in the severely repressive '50s this gay romp appeared in the movie, which is the way gays did it, of course, slipping in their moments over the heads of clueless straights. :)
