Aww, this is a bittersweet ad for me. One of the items my grandma always kept around the house. She was the sort who probably would've thought 7up would do perfectly with Thanksgiving dinner, or would've recommended it afterward to help settle one's stomach. She probably would have used those placecards, too.

I remember a contest 7-Up had one time, I believe it was when the new Superman contest came out? Anyways, letters were printed on the inside bottom of the cans, and we had to use a can opener to open them up, and store the bottoms away in the hope we would spell something. (we never did).

I know this has nothing to do with your placecards lol, just it triggered a memory of doing that when I was a kid.
