The dark haired woman in particular is most passionate. THe blonde lady hasn't tried it with a girl yet. She's determining that she likes it.

IN DANGER OF CATCHING THE GAY. This is presumably why she rinses out with Listerine later. But it is TOO LATE.

The more you look at it, the gayer it gets really. Look at her distaste for that sneezing man compared to her cheerful snoggage of that other lady.

Maybe she's not rinsing the gay germs away but celebrating with a sneaky Listerine cocktail.

She's excited that now she doesn't have to use Listerine to attempt to flush out babies! Huzzah for macking on ladies!!

LMAO! And that is true. My husband just came over, looked at the ad, spotted that panel and said, "Cool!" Mr.CC approves!

WET FEET LEAD TO LESBIANISM.

They have claimed Listerine cures pretty much everything else, so why not.

I'm surprised they don't say to douche with it before getting busy. Just because you're not into guys doesn't give you an excuse not to be dainty.

I can't wait until she's back on my TV, even if she has to share a screen with Batali. Ennh. I don't hate him that much.

I can't fault him if he thinks they're comfortable, and he's on his feet all day.

Maybe he wants the top of his head and his feet to match? Well, before his hair started falling out, and going gray...

I didn't know we had mucous membrane in our feet.

Nice to see a little "unintentional" gay for the ladies too. I think she's gargling because she's anticipating another chance with the brunette.

And I put my germ science in the hands of people who think we have mucous membranes in our feet and that drafts cause colds. 8(

In addition to "cold, wet feet", I never understood drafts as a cause of colds. Why drafts, when lots and LOTS of fresh air-- including sleeping outside or damn near close to it-- was often recommended as a treatment for TB patients? Was/is there some subtle difference between the germs that cause TB and the ones that cause colds?

Pretty much, yes. Colds are commonly caused by viruses and TB is caused by bacteria.

Regardless, I think the whole wet-feet-and-drafts theory of the cause of a cold is still up for debate.

Is the wet-feet-and-drafts related to the "if you're caught in a rain storm without an umbrella, you will get a cold" idea? I've never understood that one, either.

But I'm special and for some reason simply do not get colds (or the 'flu), despite getting caught in the rain and being soaked loads of times. I have a weird immune system that works well, despite the fact that I don't wash my hands enough or anything, like they say if you don't do means you'll get sick.

I think the idea is that drafts and cold feet reduce the immune system's effectiveness. If that is actually true or not is debatable. But without the presence of the cold virus, your feet can be soaking wet and you can be in a gale and you're not ever going to get a cold.

now, is she making that face in the last panel because of the listerine or because Miss Sally there is under her skirt?
