Considering the source, maybe some of that is dormatories for the workers. I have a feeling the smaller building on the left at front might be offices.

Sure is a bleak image for cake mix and oddly contrasting from the roses! That's probably not Siberia, but that's what I would imagine Siberia to look like in the summer. I also imagine that body of water in the front of the ad was filled with industrial pollutants and hadn't had a living vertebrate in it for 20 years.

Actually, this factory was built well before Russian revolution. It is located is Moscow, the body of water is the Moscow River.

Interesting reading. The workers did live at the factory, but it sounds like it was pretty progressive for the time with the hospital fund and pension. Thanks!
