Good Housekeeping, March 1935:

Ford had a better idea

If I buy the 1935 Ford V-8, do I get an exquisitely cool Art Deco house along with it?  And the arrow on the sun?

I'm sure this is all very innocent, but it seems like they're describing good sex in the back seat. All so 'satisfactory' for women.

The ad really is beautiful. So is the car. But, I think it would be more effective if the ad was drawn so that the women were actually looking at the car and not somewhere behind it. Oh, and they both look like they have sore backs. Must be all that "center poised" positioning between the springs.
