Sweet little girl with flowers who will DIE if adults don't do what the ad says. Nope, that imagery was never used in advertising again, especially in politics.

The virus world - the final frontier. I wonder if Roddenberry saw this ad and thought, "hmmm." Glad he went in a different direction.

The charming illustration of the girl, in her little piece of lovely nature, contrasted with the ugly germ pics, the dead trees in the distance, and the overall menace-mongering makes this one a WTH Were They Thinking oddity.
