One of my favorite ads of all time, this was my computer desktop for several months.






The guns aren't pointed at the (strangely huge) couple, but at some unseen threat above and behind them. The threat in occupied Norway, perhaps?

I guess they're telling housewives that they're still in business, even though their factories have been converted to wartime machinery. Kinda like Singer Sewing Machines.
