reminder----our next contest starts Tuesday March 1st and the theme is 'you're advertising WHAT?'....

remember:

please put 'contest entry' or at least 'contest' in the subject

if you want the ad to go to the finals, please vote via putting YES in the comments, only YES will count as a vote, not a 'i like this', only YES counts as a vote...

all ads must be 1990 and before....

since it's oscar sunday and the oscars are usually a snoozefest, why couldn't ricky gervais host? let's have movie trailer sunday WITH ONLY OSCAR NOMINATED OR OSCAR WINNING MOVIES! 1990 or before please....

i'm sure our trailers will be more interesting than the oscars! :)

and re: the moderation queue....i will be doing housework today (ugh) and a few other things, so if something isn't immediately approved, please be patient and give me an hour or two before ya send me a pithy message demanding to know why your post hasn't been approved, okay? thanks!

same holds true for tuesday when we get our most contest submissions.....i have studying to do....but i will be checking the queue every couple hours (probably more frequently knowing me, but just in case)....please be patient....and yes....i did get a pithy message last month from someone because apparently i am suppose to be on call 24/7....tsk tsk....i DO sleep too....

Well, i don't want to be bitchy, especially to you. Since we DO get along so well, but I was HOPING we'd celebrate the art of the movie poster instead of having trailers today... ;-)

i am sorry.....i posted this before i saw your post about movie posters....and like i said somewhere, i posted this BC (before coffee ;) .....i thought spur of the moment 'ah, good day for a movie trailer day'.....and viola, i tacked it on with my reminder post....
