They still exist. They're great to feed to teething babies! My understanding is that they're a type of cookie, not a brand name. I wonder if the Fleishmann's is the company that still makes the yeast, but they dropped one of the "n"s at some point.
I totally thought she was holding a slab of bologna, and the ad was for Fleischmann's Vienna Sausage/meat of some sort. (I didn't know what Zwieback was!)
When my brother was a baby/toddler, I remember eating some of his zwieback cookies. I loved those things. Don't think I've had any since I was about seven or so, but I still remember what they tasted like.

Yep, "zwieback" means "twice-baked", like "biscotti" does and "biscuit" originally did.
