Love this. Back in the mid-60's Warhol famously put an ad in the Village Voice offering to endorse anything in exchange for things like cameras, films, audio equipment, stuff he needed to keep making movies. Also, cigarettes for his Factory denizens. Some of the later films he made of Edie were filmed on a loaned Norelco video camera (Outher and Inner Space) which in 1966 would have cost about $9,000.
