I didn't think of this advantage even though I am also part of the fat market (are you by any chance also a member of [livejournal.com profile] fatshionista), it just appealed to my childlike disposition. They must have some serious drawbacks either safety-wise or regarding cost, otherwise every car would have one, wouldn't they?
