I remember suffering Reagan and Thatcher during the 80s. One night in 1999 they had Thatcher speak on the CBC about Pinochet. I was screaming at the radio as if no time had passed and I couldn't hate anyone more.

I am still mystified by the recent deification of Ronald Regan.
I still can remember how they locked up of a whole district here in Berlin, because of the expected angry riots at his visit. But nowadays he is practically a saint.

yeah, i'm really mystified by it too....i'm an american and i thought he was an ass when he was president, as did many americans and now he's portrayed as some kind of saint....wtf? it was many of his policies that led to the economic turmoil we're having right now.....amongst other things....i wish people would educate themselves.....
