Trufax - they used to have to put hot rollers in again between takes so it didn't collapse. This did not deter teens in my day from attempting to make their hair "flick" using just a comb.

That hairstyle came out when I was in high school. It was totally revolutionary after years of plain, long, straight hair. Way more of a big deal at the time than Jennifer Aniston in the '90s.
