as you all might be aware our celebs in ads contest has begun! 1990 and before only please!! and...

rules

PLEASE put 'contest entry' or at least the word 'contest' in the subject....i only tally votes for ads that have contest in the subject.....

to put the ad through to the finals, vote YES in the comments...i only count YES in the comments as a vote....no yes, no vote....

pre-celeb ads are fine! celebs must be recognizable though...if they are obscure celebs, please link to their imdb.com page.....all ads must be 1990 and before....

helpful hint

youtube for some unfathomable reason has a new embed code....it sucks....i have had to reject several moderated ads today because no ad showed up! it was due to the new sucky youtube embed code!!! pikkewyntjie gave this helpful hint in a post of theirs but i am posting this here also.....

if you want to use a youtube ad, when you get the embed code you see there is a box to check for the old embed code, PLEASE CHECK THAT BOX FOR THE OLD EMBED CODE!!! that's the only way your ad will embed!! hopefully youtube will fix their new sucky embed code!

snowice contingency

THEY say that my area might get 1/2" of ice or perhaps MORE through tomorrow plus some snow....now ice only really belongs in drinks (such as Julian's rum & coke glass) or in hockey rinks....but if the ice takes down my power lines, i will be without internet (OMG WHAT WILL I DO?!!?!??!!?!?) and i want to give a heads up about this possibility....

if you are submitting moderated ads and none are being approved tomorrow and you don't see any ads posted by me tomorrow you'll know i'm without either power or internet....i know my co-mod tanwen can pick up the slack but she is far busier than me, so please be patient if your moderated submission isn't immediately approved!

and if you live in an area getting slammed by ice, drive very slowly and carefully!!!

I have found that if you use the imbed code that appears on screen after you play a video, it doesnt work, the "imbed" box just underneath it will give you the correct one.

the embed code i've tried below the videos isn't working for me...i have to check the 'use old code' box....huh....maybe youtube is still tweaking this new code.....

Bubbles is my favorite character, but it's all great to me. I love the shot of Ricky and you -- grade 10 looks good on him.

it is rather hard to pick a favorite character.....i mean bubbles loves his kitties and he's the voice of reason a lot of times....but yeah....i still gotta go with ricky as my favorite....close though.....they're all awesome!! ♥ the TPBs!!! and they are just the nicest guys who really appreciate their fans!
