A few choice words indeed! Mary Jane called Lucy a tramp and she wasn't even playing the game! The guy behind the counter is funnier than Lucy. Love the hand flapping!
I remember this ad, but I'm not sure why. I think it's one of those toy ads they run forever like the Yatzee ads.
Mary Jane was such a powder blue wuss; Ethel would've grabbed Lucy's arm and said,"Ohhh, noooo: Lucy, now Fred gave me three dollars to buy a dress, and I'm not wasting it on some cockamamie game."
Of course, then Lucy would've said, looking up and to the right, "Wait: I have a plan..." And just like that, no dress for Ethel. But at least Ethel fought back.
