I already have bananas at home. Not indoors, but right outside.
Oh, BTW, dwarf bananas are decorative. Big damn seeds, alum, not suitable for eating. Cute though. And the fruit is bigger than that.
LOL

I wish I could grow bananas, that would be so cool.

You like bananas?
I guess you'd have to, they all go ripe at once. You have to eat fast, LOL
Everyone has bananas down here--they're fast growing and make a great privacy hedge.

I was wondering about the edibility of those bananas. I've got a dwarf orange tree, and the first year it fruited I made the mistake of trying to eat one because the oranges are SO CUTE. I found out they're also SO BITTER. X-o

Tiny food cracks me up. I like to eat it and pretend I'm the Jolly Green Giant.

It seems like it'd be very hard to peel these tiny bananas. It'd probably take me ten minutes and I'd mush it all up.

It's even more fun when you do the "Ho ho ho!" part out loud.

My dad does a pretty spot on GG impression. It's generally unwelcome if you have a mouth full of food (there was an incident).

Hmm, this was made in 1968, little green tree with little green leaves that thrives in any light. Hmm, I wonder if people weren't growing something else in the late 60s and saying that it was a banana tree?

I wonder if you can smoke the little banana peels.

Little lap dog that unwisely ventured off the lap: "Whoooa! Oww! Damn! Who left that little effin' peel...?!!"

so practical... of course, the mini-bananas, if you ever get any, will have the sweetness and texture of wood.

Yeah, and that's a pretty big "if". Getting them to bear fruit is nearly impossible.

I don't think it'd be worth the trouble trying to peel that tiny sucker for maybe a bite of banana. You could top maybe one cornflake with one of those!

Pro: No slicing nanners as they're bite sized. Con: They look hard to peel, especially if you have, you know, adult sized hands.

I had one of these when I was a kid. It never gave any bananas, but I treated it like it was a pet. I was weird.
