Morgan Freeman wore pink pants with butterflies as Easy Reader on The Electric Company and he totally rocked them, but I guess that would go without saying. ;) But I don't remember too many guys I knew who did, but I just don't remember. I was only 8 in 1974.

Yes, they did. The '70's was just a "rainbow color" time in everything....except house decor...avocado green and orangey shag carpeting...gah....

My parents moved into their house in 1984 ('85?) and I distinctively remember in the very early 90s them having royal blue and olive green shag carpeting being ripped out of the living room and the basement. Seriously, the basement. And it's never been a finished basement. And you wonder why I remember such seemingly random things.

Or maybe I'm making up the basement because they kept those damn carpets in the basement until the '00s. My mother waited until a few years ago to take out her pale yellow shag carpeting in her bedroom. It was everywhere.

I know their previous house had the olive green shag through pictures so I might be getting confused. But shag, it was everywhere! And there was also carpeting in the three season porch, but I don't really remember that.

When I was a kid, I had a pair of orange bell-bottoms I wanted to wear every day.

And now it seems everyone is being led back to the straight and narrow. Funny how fashion moves in one big, giant circle.

Why are parts of their thighs semi-translucent? Puzzling!
