This ended up in one of my comments to the Swanson 5-section frozen dinner post, and I didn't want to distract from that post.

I *lovedLOVEDloved* these so much, especially the chicken parm with fettuccine and huge green beans. The plates were totally resuable, and sturdy, like Corelle dishes.

I remember these, they were really good, but expensive. I'm sure that's why they disappeared! I can't remember what happened to my LeMenu plates, they lasted forever.

Wow! Were they that much? Because I had no money in the 80s, but I ate these things all the time. I liked them and I loved the little plates!

The styling of this ad made me think of "Dynasty" right away, seriously. The era where even frozen foods were presented all classy-like and floridly upscale.

I still have three of them in my cupboard. :D

I remember these, but I don't believe I ever ate one.

I used to eat these all the time, when I was working 12 hours days with hour drive each way, nothing else tasted good and was easy as these. Got tired of subs and pizza quick.

Tasty, but salty and too expensive. Wondered what happened to them though!

Oh, I remember these and thank you! My boyfriend still has some of the plates, and I was like "I've seen these before...where have I seen these before?" Now I remember!

I liked them too, but I did think they were a bit too salty. Nothing on Linda McCartney's frozen dinners, though...wow, they were awful!

I never had LeMenu, but that particular dinner does sound good. hehe

I vaguely remember these things, when I was really young my parents would eat them, then use the plastic plates as non breakable diningware the kids.

I too loved Le Menu and ate them frequently. I still have a couple of the plates that I've had for 20+ years that I've used as painting palettes.
