Oh dear. I just found a bit of a snarl here, and hopefully this will untangle things:

1. Please, (pretty with sugar-cream on top) PLEASE do not carry fights on. If you feel to argue, please do so through another channel. I've never had the need to ban anyone, and it would sadden me if I had to do so. Gentlemanly/ladylike civility = lovely fun for all!

2. Repeat posts do accidentally happen. Please forgive those who do so - no-one can possibly go through every single entry!

That being said, this community has run perfectly for the past 2 or so years - this is the first argument I've come across ever - and so prithee fair reader, kindly keep it so. I adore everyone in this community, I'm extremely happy at the way it has grown in the past while, and I hope everyone can continue to make it an even more super-fantastique place.

Of course I understand that repeat posts will happen... but the odds of three "accidentally" popping up in rapid succession by the same person seems kind of fantastical to me. Nobody should be expected to delve into every past entry simply to verify whether the picture has been posted before; that said, without having sifted through prior entries, I don't see how this community member could have found my image, at least, because it was shown here and in my own journal exclusively.

I brought this up in (what I feel was) a non-confrontational way, though in retrospect I suppose I should have let it go. Still, the resulting vitriol spewed by this person was ridiculous and overblown (so much so that I believe him/her to be nothing more than a troll. Really... what well-adjusted person behaves like this in reality ?) It just seems rather unfair that while some people make the effort to locate, scan, upload, and share images for this community, others can then come along and reuse them in such a blatant fashion.

Anyway, the whole thing is beyond silly, and I regret bringing it up in the first place. It won't happen again.

Although I don't know them from Adam, I've found nocturne333's donations to this website to be some of the most valuable and entertaining of them all. I noticed that when I looked at your userinfo to see if you were a girl or a guy, and I was truly sad to see it. I understand it but I wish you'd change your mind and come back anyway. You should never let spoilsports get their way. (You should have seen the original comment I made but deleted when I decided - against type - to try to remain civil about this ridiculous, humourless attempt to stymie you. Fucking petty, and I don't mean you.)
