I was curious about the name too so I looked them up...
Pictured is a Pangburn's Ragtime Chocolates box, wrapped in fine tissue covering and with the original ribbon. It is approximately 75 years old and is in excellent condition. Pangburn's Chocolates opened in 1914 in Fort Worth, Texas. H. T. Pangburn was the first known manufacturer to use ingredients like pecans and caramels to enhance the vanilla ice cream he sold in his Ft. Worth drug store. The company, which created Millionaire candy bars, survived for 84 years until it was purchased by Russell Stovers.
Another fun fact: candy tins were very popular during World War I when they were shipped overseas to servicemen. Women on the candy assembly line often slipped notes of encouragement into the tins.
