No prob! I was thinking about it tonight and figured it wouldn't hurt to do it (it didn't take much time at all, though I debated a bit on some of the wording).

Yay! I'm glad that you like it. The colorful paint ads from the 50s have amazing graphics to play with, don't they?

Though when I saw it from the main page (doing my daily check of ads/comments I may have missed), I realized that I totally forgot one of the main points of old ad design: using a standard typeface like Helvetica along side a scripty one, instead of it all being scripty. I might have to update this guy >.>

A clarification: Are these BAD food ads?? Or food ads in general???

I've been watching this community for a while and I still don't get why there's an imaginary line between jello and no-jello foods? Anyone care to enlighten a befuddled gal? :)

FYI... If it's the ad I'm thinking of, and im thinking of resubmitting, as it wasn't in any contest.. The chicken was NOT in Jello... lol

I take it "no jello" == "no gelatin products"? Meaning no one can squeeze in by saying, "But it's a Royal gelatin ad", or "But it's Knox unflavored gelatin"?
