OK, so here's the script: your new toilet seat is so fabulous, you throw out all your towels, shower curtains, bath mats, rugs, your laundry hamper, and all your "other gadgets", and buy new ones (as well as, apparently, a matching outfit) just to match the toilet seat.

And then you invite your nosy parker friend over to marvel at your toilet seat.

Ok, I just read "Shades of Grey" by Jasper Fforde. All the characters are colorblind except for one color. That's all I can think of when I look at this ad.

Actually? I've had a little old lady do just that. It was...strange. I was ushered into her bathroom, the toilet seat was presented, and then all of the rest of the matching fixtures.

I quietly boggled, complimented her on her exquisite bathroom, and we went to the kitchen to have coffee.

OMG - flashback. I remember that pattern. Some relative and/or family friend must have had this, because I can clearly remember the 'coral' and 'ivory' (although it was pretty yellowed by then) shades somehow... I just can't remember *where* I saw it, but I know I saw it frequently.
