In time for Halloween...
Oct. 18th, 2010 10:31 pmI was just reminded on Facebook that there is a confusion about some candy names - in particular, Smarties. I think in the States, Smarties are what we call Rockets in Canada. Our Smarties are more like M&Ms (which we also have - ah, Canada - the land of chocolate.)
Pretty catchy ditty, eh?
When you eat your Smarties,
Do you eat the red ones last?
Do you suck them very slowly?
Or crunch them very fast?
It's a candy-coated chocolate,
So tell me when I ask!

We have ways of making you sing the Smarties' jingle...

Date: 2010-10-19 11:12 am (UTC)ETA: Also, I feel the need to protest the comparison to M&Ms. I think that might confuse people into thinking they're the same when they're totally not. Smarties are bigger and sweeter. M&Ms, while purporting to be Milk Chocolate, taste almost semi-sweet when compared to delicious wonderful Smarties. (I did a school project on the differences when I was a kid, and pitted the two against eachother. Smarties won!)
