DOUBLE FEATURE TONIGHT!

I just think the ad copy, the layout, everything of this ad is just grand. Nice ideas in it.

A dedicated "meat oven" - interesting concept. Not much good for a vegetarian, but if you're gonna cook roasts the size of a small child (see above), then I could see the need for it.

I'm kinda concerned about the "infra-red" rays used in the "charcol-ator" - after the radium in the butt ad, I'm all nervous...

That is a lot of food for four people. I see 36 biscuits! And that roast is bigger than her head.

Yes, but if she cooks that much food for four, she may not have to cook again for a couple of days. Smart woman, that.

Gas stove = best. :) Couldn't wait to get rid of my nasty electric stove when I remodeled the kitchen!

Yeah, my grandmother had a gas stove and nothing cooks as well - nothing! You can regulate the flame and therefore exactly how much heat you're getting so perfectly. In addition, things just taste better - hands down!

My O'Keefe and Merritt stove looks just like this, right down to the salt and pepper shakers!

The image just perfectly illustrates a housewife's alienation from the ungrateful family she slaves for. Her drudgery is a performance that happens every night of the week for years an years, and they don't always applaud. No wonder those ladies started takin' the nerve pills.

What with Nerve Tension and all.

Judging from the roast, her head will fit just fine in the Meat Oven.
