The whole Mayo-Jello thing is scary and wrong, but the loaf presentation is interesting. Maybe something woven of very thin celery ribbons peeled back as eaten, so the celery is part of the flavor without requiring knife and fork? Of course, woven bacon, ala Bacon Explosion... maybe as serving bowl?

I grew up thinking I didn't like mayo, but as an adult I found it very tasty. OK, I thinks to myself, tastes change with age.

But then, when I was in my late 30's, my now ex set out a lunchtime buffet of sandwich fixin's and without a second thought I slather the white stuff in a jar on my sandwich and when I take a bite I nearly puke and spit it out. Sure enough, it's miracle whip and I realize that's what my mom had tried to feed me 30 years earlier.

When I first looked at this ad, it didn't register as potato salad for some reason and I thought it was a weird Jell-O salad with marshmallows in it.

I love potato salad, but I don't know about this one. It looks as if it's got a high ratio of yellow crap to potato chunks. I prefer my potato salad with less goop and more potatoes.

I like potato salad too, but it seems the whole point is to make it look pretty for the mayo ad...which then reeks of vegetative cake!

These kinds of ads could be why people started eating fewer vegetables in the first place!

I do agree that finally it's not lemon Jello with mayo making it completely inedible.
