I think it was a matter of interpretation - I took medical claims to mean "health claims" - but when I saw the later ads about pills and devices, I became unsure about my own earlier entries.
i don't think so.....i think they all followed the theme....'health claims in vintage ads'....if it's a claim for health (take this pill be happy forever and ever) and vintage, it's an entry! :)
i will say this is the first contest where all the entries fit the theme! all the others there's always been a couple that did not!
i don't wish to discourage our contestants or have them feel insulted or slighted, but if you would like to private message with the ads you thought did not follow the theme, i would appreciate knowing which ones you thought that of! it could help me formulate a better 'theme' next month which is, oh food ads THAT DO NOT CONTAIN JELLO....well....that's pretty cut and dried...well for decembers....'toys in ads and toys they couldn't sell/advertise now'.....
