misstiaI heard from the LJ design team and i might get a look at what kind of design they come up at the end of the week. I will of course share that with everyone, when I get it, for feedback, etc.!
I've changed/added a couple things to our event calendar. Our calendar is always available with a link via the stickied post on the top of our LJ vintage ad's page and here is the link to it.
This upcoming weekend event (which I will post about again tomorrow) I changed to be: Vintage Ads Complaint/Praise Department! Complain about products you hate! Praise products you love! Tell us why if you wish!
(this is unchanged) January 19, Monday, ONE DAY EVENT, Ads featuring positive representations of African Americans and any ads featuring Martin Luther King, Jr.
(i added happy ads) January 23 - 25 Weekend Event Coffee and Tea ads and HAPPY ADS!! Happy Ads because January 24th is considered the most depressing day of the year.
( i moved blue to this weekend, which was suppose to be this upcoming weekend) January 30 - February 1 Weekend Event featuring/mentioning the color Blue

(i added this as i didn't know what day this was before) February 1, Sunday, ONE DAY EVENT, Super Bowl Ads (1995 and before), Ads featuring football players, anything Super Bowl related!
(this is unchanged) February 3, Tuesday, Contest Starts, Theme FACIAL HAIR
(I added bicycles here in case there's not a lot of bus ads) February 6 - 8 Weekend Events Ads mentioning February AND Buses AND Bicycle Ads. With 3 selections there, we should have a nicely filled weekend :)
