igrick and SUP....might not be mod like, but i'm mad as hell and not gonna take it anymore!
someone just sent me this link....article about LJs plans
how this will affect OUR community i have no clue....i have no desire for user analysis or statistics or metrics (i suck at metrics, sorry members who live in countries with the metric system, i also suck at basic math if that's any consolation)....i know that ONTD doesn't have subject lines in their comments (last time i was there they didn't) and i know that is going to be unavoidable with the site redesign (ETA: the site redesign is going to take away subject lines from what i have read in another article from last month, with no work arounds, as we currently have)....what we can do to work around their basic updating fuckery i am hoping that there'll be some CSS codes that'll let us bypass stuff....unless of course they block that ability.....
and at the end of the article it's clear LJ doesn't care about the complaints from current users about the planned site redesign, they plan on getting new customers....we are replaceable.....good luck getting new customers with your attitude LJ!!
