I vaguely remember this ad; actually, I was looking for the Gulf commercial where the teenager pulls up to a gas station and before the attendant comes up his girlfriend is ribbing him about how he just spent $10 on a new gas pedal shaped like a foot. The attendant comes up and the kid asks for "A quarter's worth of Gulf, please."
