And thus ends my Holden obsession for now. Hope this hasn't bored you. I realise it's a very Australian-centric series of posts so I'm hoping that at least some other Aussies might be diggin' it. And now it's over.

I had the pleasure of driving a pristine, cherry red 1953 Holden pick-up around the streets of Sydney one night a few years back. People would come out of the pubs to yell "w00t"! It was great.

I knew you weren't an Aussie 'cos we call them 'utes' ('utility vehicles') and we'd never say 'cherry red'. God, ya gotta love regional dialects. ;)

Anyway, I'm just trying to distract from the fact that I'm mad jealous, but seriously, I'm glad you have such a fond memory of my lovely hometown. I can totally picture the scene. Must've been empowering fun! Do you actually like Holdens yourself?
