How to plan a kitchen that's always modern!

I'm digging the curvature, but figuring out which way the stool is leaning is giving me a headache.

That stool would collapse under the weight of my mighty ass.

Oh I love this and if I had been a homeowner back then (what the 40's?) I would have wanted this....love the contrast of the primary colours and the white of the cupboards and blinds which enhances the idea of cleanliness.......and that stool - love the lines of it and how it matches the lines in the linoleum...

very nice!

I want this kitchen so bad it hurts! But yeah, that stool would be for the cat to perch on; definitely not my ample bum! It says the ad is from 1947, but I could easily see this kitchen fitting into the 70s as well.

especially thru 1976 and the bicentennial craze with everything red, white and blue!

My parents redecorated our house in 1976. They ended up with a red, white, and blue bedroom. (I was luckier: I got a yellow, white, and black daisy theme in my room.)

That's a really nice floor covering (though I could do without the detailing in front of the sink) and a lovely kitchen with its curved lines.

Normally I don't like 'modern' kitchens (anything post-1910ish), but this one? I'll take it.

That stool looks tippy, but interesting.

I'm another that doesn't like the spectacle design in front of the sink but the rest? Change the colors and I'll take it.

So this has a (c) 1947 above the maker's name...looks about right to me. Also, there's no ZIP code, so it's def pre-early-60s.

Love it. I'd live with it.

PATRIOTIC KITCHEN IS PATRIOTIC.

I'd like to have that too, but I live in a tiny house with a microscopic kitchen, and it just wouldn't work even scaled down. I'd love to have an "eat in" kitchen. It's be patriotic here in the UK too.
