San Miguel Beer Ad - Circa 1958

Something about the hand creeps me out and the way the beer looks like it's going to be poured down her lovely face.

Also they're supposed to be sharing a nice time together with the cold beer but they're barely even looking at each other. LOL

So prim and proper yet distant. Very lovely endorsers BTW..they don't make people look like that anymore these days.

how her hand (in the one on the left) looks reminds me of Friends and Phoebe taching Joey how to play guitar and calling the chords the way her hand looked when she did them.

She's looking at that beer as if it's in the Holy Grail. You can almost hear the choir of angels singing. The guy's arm should be clothed in white samite, and the woman should have rays of light shining from her brow. She's a lady knight who has reached the object of her quest.
