I love Kix, but "malty" is a word I've never associated with it. Perhaps I'm just unclear on the concept. Wonder when they abandoned the flake for the pellet.

Heck of an interesting package. I've never seen any other cereal before that came in tubes like crackers.

Malt flavoring is really common in random cereals you wouldn't think of - it's in Rice Krispies. Which is really annoying, because those of us avoiding gluten can't eat it.

(Incidentally, Kix doesn't have malt anymore. Not sure if it was removed recently or a long time ago, but Corn and Rice Chex recently removed the malt to make it gluten free.)
