This is the first thing I thought of. Well, not this video specifically, as I've never seen it, but just her wondering if Chicken Of The Sea is chicken or tuna :p
Invite her Aunt Raffi to come over and help her make it, only Giada would call it Tuna Mack-ee-a-roni Cheese Loaf, and use imported Italian tuna packed in oil, and par-mee-a-gianna Reggiano cheese...
You're probably right for most people, but warm tuna is one of two truly gag-worthy foods for me (the other one is sweet tea - who knows how these things work). Cold tuna - no prob.
Yeah, I'm ashamed to say, I would totally eat this. But I also spent a lot of time with my grandma as a kid and as a depression survivor and WWII widow, she could make a mean casserole out of just about anything. Tuna Noodle was totally one of my favorites.
I don't think they're baby carrots as we know baby carrots, because those are a relatively new "invention". I dunno what those things are for sure. I *think* they're pimientos, mostly because they used them in the recipe, but ... those aren't precisely the standard pimiento shape. I DON'T KNOW! *sob*
Is it true that "baby" carrots are really just big, unslightly-and-therefore-can't-be-marketed carrots whittled down? Oh, I know, I think those are those bags of uniform peeled carrots sold bagged in grocery stores.
Ahhhh, I actually Wikipediaed the subject: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Baby_carrot
Whenever I think of wee, freshly-grown baby carrots, I think of helping my Grandma thin out her rows of carrots in her GINORMOUS garden back in Minnesota. We grandkids would brush off the dirt and eat them by the fistfuls as we worked. Ahh, memories!
Is it wrong for me to be staring at the hot Mermaid and trying desperately to avert my eyes from the food... then accidentally see the food and quickly go back at staring at the hot Mermaid?
