'Everywhere - why?' reminds me a lot of the kind of anti-advertising which is familiar in Engrish.
As for kids who tell you funny fairy tales... 'give them the enjoyment they crave, and the pastime they need'. Even in 1900 or whenever, how did this kind of thing wash?
