One: How do you manage to get that much bleach right there on yourself?

Two: Why does it look like she's oddly intrigued by the repulsive smell and wants to drink it? (to get out of the bad ad, maybe?)

Three: It's nice ht bottle cracked in her dustpan for her. In mid air. Against nothing.

It's like the precursor to the infomercial where they manage to do something in the most incompetent way possible. (I once saw a knife commercial where they were showing how "hard" it is to cut bread and they just smashed the loaf of bread with the knife.)

Or hair removal cream - managing to get it all over the walls, your clothes, eyebrows, in your hair. Jeez. If you can't do that right you shouldn't be allowed in public.

HA! I remember one where they had an old women struggling to hold her sewing machine as she tried to repair her still-hanging curtains.

My favorite is the woman who's all thumbs and can't close a bag of chips without spilling it ALL OVER THE PLACE

XD

The pictures look more like proof that bottles are just too hard for that woman to figure out. First she tries using her chest to get the bleach out. Then she wonders what that little hole at the top of the bottle is for. Finally she just smashes it against the washer. That got the bleach in there!

I think "Two" is part of the answer to "One". And possibly "Three" as well, depending on whether she successfully drank any of it after drunkenly spilling so much on her.

#1 THIS. WTF, lady, you sloshed a big glop of bleach up right by your face? And you're not ripping the shirt off?

If you were home alone all day breathing in corrosive fumes, you'd look like that too!

Why, oh why, don't they make cool packaging like that anymore? I'd buy it just to have on the shelf.

I also want a box of Mr. Sparkle...

This seems like a great idea to me. Terrible ad, but geez. I'd rather have a box of this for laundry than be paranoid about splashes and spills.

I used to see powdered chlorine bleach in laundrymat dispensers. It worked way better than liquids but you had to hold the box as far away from your face as possible because getting that dust up your nose was some bad news.

The lady on the box looks creepy. It's almost like the one from the Oxydol 1938 ad (http://community.livejournal.com/vintage_ads/1919688.html).
