Marshmallow creme? Or thost type of sandwiches? That marshmallow creme was used as an easier way to make home made fudge. My mom made it all the time. God I loved licking the pot when she was finished ;)
in college on of my roommate's mom gave us bread, pb, and marshmallow creme to make these sandwiches. we thought this was the grossest thing until we were drunk one night...then omg so good
I can see it now: you cackling as the poor defenseless marshmallows meet their demise. you can't hear it but they scream. But I can hear them. Oh yes I can.
God, given my family's tendency towards cloyingly sweet, pancreas destroying food, I'm amazed we dodged the bullet on this one.
Mark me down as another with a low tolerance for marshmallows, except a)perfectly golden toasted over a fire, in which case I'll slide of the toasted outside and eat it while disposing of the melted gooey inside; and b)mallow cookies - we have them as Viva Puffs, I believe you guys in the states call them Mallomars. I find them cloying but can eat a quarter of a box in one sitting. After which I'd better go looking for some insulin.
Suzanne's Ricemellow Creme (http://store.veganessentials.com/ricemellow-marshmallow-creme-p1248.aspx) is made with rice syrup and won't spike your blood sugar. Personally, I like this much better than Fluff; plus, it doesn't have egg whites or gelatin.
