That was pretty standard for then; my mother has always been a coupon-clipper, and I remember she had a huge bag of coupons, and I went through them one day when I was a kid. Most of them were 7¢ coupons—and in the fine print, each coupon could be redeemed for something like 1/20th of one cent. Woo!

I eat them right out of the can. Yum! Or put them in a tuna fish sandwich for some crunch. :)

That fish looks so gross but I'm sure it is delicious.

Fried onions from a can taste surprisingly good in a ham sandwich. They're good by themselves, too - I can only eat a handful, though, due to heartburn issues.

This is the oldest usage of the expression "Go girl!" I've ever seen.

We only started getting these in Canada in the last 10 years. I always pined for them when I read them in a recipe. They are great - maybe I should pick some up. Nom, nom.

And wow, "Go Girl!" in 1969? I saw that first and though it must be a contemporary ad. The copywriter was probably a time traveler from the future. And he was on Adderall.

BTW does anyone else find the name "Durkee" unappealing in a food item. It's a little to close to some scatological slang words. :|

Mmm... everything tastes better from a can!

I wish I had the font for "creativity kit" though. That's some cool type!
