Oh, my goodness, my paternal great-grandmother used this soap! I remember that smell...I couldn't quite describe it either, but you *know* it once you've smelled it before!

The only place you see it any more, that I can think of, is those little two-by-three-in concave tablets of soap in the less luxurious motels.

Beautiful ad. Horrible soap. My MIL used to buy it when we lived with her, very drying. You can still find it in discount type stores here in the South.
