Those were a pain in the butt to sew. You had to have a special zipper foot and it still rarely worked just right. In the end, it was much simpler and neater to just use a regular zipper.
haha you think so? i prefer to sew invisible zippers as opposed to regular zippers - as long as you have the right foot, they go in sooo easy. regular zippers always shift around on me, even when i baste them into place. they always turn out lumpy and/or with bubbles.
