I remember this ad pretty well, although I didn't understand at the time why anyone would rather "fight than switch"—since I didn't understand tobacco addiction. My parents smoked Tareytons (with the activated charcoal filter) for a little while, but they preferred Kent (with the famous micronite filter.)
