Does anyone recongnize this 1930s advertising trademark?  I know I've seen it somewhere before, but damned if I can remember where!

Looks kinda like this mascot I found in my copy of What a Character! 20th Century American Advertising Icons.

According to the book, his name was NAT, and he was the mascot for the National Screw and Mfg. Company in the 1950s.

No problem -- I knew that book would come in handy one day!

Maybe "Cleveland National Screw & Mfg. Co." was a local subsidiary?

Does anyone know the location of the Nat'l Screw & Mfg company in cleveland? Does the building still exist?
A friend of mine who owns a hotel in New York has a picture of the "semi-finishing nut department" in front of their building. If the building still exists, I'd love to find the place and take a current picture.
thanks
jim
