All I can think of is Patton Oswalt's bit about Tom Carvel - "his voice was like Tom Waits gargling hot asphalt..."

He was like your drunk uncle at Christmas.

Man, I wanted a Cookie Puss back in the day!

Wow, that really takes me back...I had a Cookiepuss for my seventh birthday (I think it was my 7th...) and it was the hit of my party.

Growing up in Maryland, Carvel ads were on all the time back in the 70s. I swear the company only had that one lightbulb shaped mold that they used to make pretty much every cake.

At my last job, a bunch of us used to imitate Tom Carvel's voice and joke about getting a Cookiepuss cake. Now the department to which my group was attached had cake and such once a month to celebrate the birthdays of the various employees. One year, when February (the month in which I was born) rolled around, we all went into the big meeting room and discovered that our VP had gotten both a Cookiepuss and a Fudgie the Whale cake.
