I had an interesting experience in the Washington Square toilets but never Times Sqaure. And it had nothing to do with burlesque, sadly.

Look, don't get offended if I don't add you back and feel free to drop me if and when you find my musings boring...or just pop in for an eyeful as you wish. I try to include people to my friends list that I really want to read and connect with and I'm not here for a popularity contest for number of friends (not assuming you are either, mind you) or anything so I won't take offense if you won't. Those are fabulous! What a great collection, and so naughty too. ;) I hadn't realized Betty Page did striptease too.

I don't think she actually did striptease necessarily but I'm no expert on her. This film was made by Irving Klaw (and the poster came from his one time shop in NYC where the leftovers from the cinema were sold, I've been told) and he was the photographer that made Bettie the famous pin-up she became. So, it stands to reason that he may have included her and a dance routine in his film quite easily even though that may not have been a normal part of her daily grind.
