I LOVE the MG! I have a Miata because it's the closest car I could afford that has the spirit of the MG! :)

as a kid my Da had a 1962 Sunbeam Alpine (ever watch Get Smart? that little car he gets out of in the opening squence is an Alpine), and a mid 70's MG Midget. then we old them both and for a long time had no sports cars.

then we bought the cherry Triumph Spitfire 1500- a 1980 and we were the third owners. it only had like, 42,300. then we bought the mustard yellow 1972 MG B. solf them soth and again we were out of british sports cars :-(

last year, Da and i bought a 1970 Triumph Spitfire. aah..i love British sports cars. now my Da has his new Triumph Bonneville and i have a pink scooter and my Mum's got the same one, but it's 1950's teal..

sorry, got side tracked, sorry. i have a high fever and strep throat so my brain isn't working too well...

we used to have one! it was a 1972 and this kinda pumpkin orange, gut it wasn't a GT, just had the convertible roof.

my Da and i are really into little british sports cars and have had quite a parade of them go through our driveway ( about 5 or 6, if i counted right...^.^)

anyway, you should go for it, there are few cars ta\hat are as fun to drive as those little ones^.^
