I'll accept the invitation to post some film posters since they are my collecting passion without equal. Especially the sleazier.


This is a film poster format known as a three sheet. They were normally pasted inside large lobbys or on billboards on the sides of cinemas and they stopped making them in the 70s. They measure 41 inches by 81 inches or 104cm by 205cm.

I can do some on a mildly regular basis but I don't want to fill up people's friends pages and/or take all the space. I have scads. I like everything I've seen here in the little time (six moths?) I've been a member.

Yes, I assumed that was a good idea. There were a lot of different variations in North American movie paper back then and now it just seems to be the standard poster. I'll always give some stats of some sort since I know I most won't be aware (because I wasn't when I started) and I'm into that anyway.

My main image folder currently has 1537 separate images. Each one is either a poster, single or number of lobby cards, or complete lobby card set. Most, however, are some form or size of poster. I know there are some missing from there, but not many, and there are also ten or so that are sitting newly arrived and waiting their turn. I also have the odd duplicate that I picked up with the idea of trading or selling in the future. So, that's an approximate number.
