A late 1960s advert for the Morris 1800, a large car made by the British Motor Corporation/British Leyland between 1964 and 1975 (which was also available as an Austin a Wolseley) which simply wasn't what the majority of the British car buying public wanted at the time:



They did have their fans, though (mainly families with lots of children and dogs), and they have a cult following today ;)

I think all British cars have some sort of cult following. hah.

As a former British auto mechanic and once proud (though often frustrated) owner of a Triumph Spitfire, I have seen owners groups for just about every common and uncommonly odd vehicle to ever come out of England. =)
