At last, a stupid fad product that's willing to tell it like it is!

That's a scary looking gang, you don't want to meet them in a dark alley at night! And what kind of gang? a retardo gang? because those are the only people that wear velcro shoes!

My kid used to wear velcro shoes when he was three or four. The dog used to love to tackle him just to rip open the velcro on the strap.

And yeah, that is one ugly bunch of kids, specially the kid in the front.

I wore velcro shoes until I was eight as I couldn't tie shoe laces at all until then, no matter how hard I tried :(

Having a rainbow motif on your shoes was a pretty bold statement in the 1980s! :)

OMG! I had a lavender velour shirt that had a big bird-like looking giant yellow bird creature running wearing black strap shoes white socks with his hand sticking out and a rainbow coming out of it. Damn! that was a gay shirt, even back then! I would never wear it today! *true story* I was in the 3rd grade way back in 83'

OMG! Not sure if they were these specifically but I had shoes like that. The change outable circles on mine were "moodies" so could say like sad, happy, mad, or such things.

I loved those shoes so much they went so well with my plastic charm necklace.

A pretty much the same idea what the Crocs have, with selling these little ad-ons that you can stick to the holes. Or, you know, buy cheap rip-offs of the trademarked product ;)

When my sister and I were little, she had "customizable" shoes like these... you know, the ones that came with a key chain of assorted glittery inserts. I'm pretty sure she even had a pair of keds that you could put temporary tattoos on, ha.

Oh, the nineties.

There was actually a fad for velcro shoes when I was eight or nine. You had to have them to be cool. The daft kids didn't feel bad that they couldn't ie their shoes either.
