I love how the 1970s are inherently comical. I mean, this ad would be funny even without the shaft of light impaling that woman's ass.

Bay-bay.

Another reason for not wearing that awful scent.

I don't know if it's truly impaling her ass... It looks like a close call. A grazing shot. The gentlemen in the picture must surely be concerned for his boys, however.

lol... I just realized something. Look at the left corner, down at the bottom..

"Photographed at 'New York, New York Discotheque'"

Well shit! It MUST be good cologne, then!

I love it when advertisers try to give their product an aire of legitimacy by mentioning something completely stupid but currently en vogue along with it..

Great, now I've got that song "Boogie Fever" going through my head and it'll take days to get rid of it.

Was it ever normal to have high-heeled roller skates?

Ever smelled Charlie? Add more of a chemical background to it. One of those perfumes that linger in a room after the wearer is gone and not in a good way.

It was photographed at a Discotheque because (as we all know) professional Madison Avenue advertising agencies could not possibly locate:
a) colored lights,
b) dry ice, and
c) a room with 8'x12' of hardwood floor for a photo shoot.
