You can ALWAYS post pen, pencil, stationary ads any day of the week, weekend, etc! We just do themed days and weekends for people to be able to showcase certain ads; but regular non-themed ads are ALWAYS welcome!!

Vintage Ads

I have LOTS of ads. It's great to have a place to share them. I actually got a domain and hosting site last year and set up a wordpress site for a while to show off vintage ads. Ended up not really having the time to do it and closed it down.

I don't want to overpost. Do you have a suggested limit on daily posts?

We don't have a limit on daily posts. I guess if you posted like over 20 or so a day that might be too much? That's one 'rule' I never made---and don't plan on it! :D I don't like rules, so we have as few as possible here!

I dunno if you're new to LJ or not, but I made the community a walk thru on doing scheduled posts. http://vintage-ads.livejournal.com/5666277.html All reminders you'll see for weekend events, one day events, contest rules, etc I have as scheduled posts---I did over 200 scheduled posts in a couple days, but that's just community announcements, could be done for ads though! I use scheduled posts to set up contest entries sometimes when I have some free time a few days before it starts.

One note about scheduled posts, you're on moderated posting right now and I don't think that'll allow scheduled posts. So the next time you post something--unscheduled---I'll approve you for unmoderated posting. I forgot to check the box on the last one you posted!

You definitely have some great ads!! Glad you found us and want to share!

Thanks for the reply. Depending on time, some days I may post a good bit, other days I might not have time to post any. I am new to LJ. I just signed up today in order to post on the site.
